CHALLENGE:

Bunker Hill Media was hired by EDC to attend and film at the 2022 EDC Las Vegas show, a premier event in the electronic dance music scene. The goal was twofold: to capture the exhilarating energy and vibrant atmosphere of the festival, and to produce high-quality video content that could be edited and posted in real-time to Lomotif’s social channels. This required not only technical expertise but also an acute understanding of the festival's dynamic environment and the ability to work seamlessly under pressure.

Lomotif aimed to leverage the massive audience of EDC Las Vegas to enhance their brand visibility and engagement on social media. The challenge was to create content that would stand out amidst the flood of posts from festival-goers and other media outlets. This meant capturing unique angles, authentic moments, and high-energy performances that would resonate with viewers and drive significant engagement on Lomotif’s platform.

In addition to shooting live footage, we were tasked with conducting on-the-spot interviews with artists and attendees, providing a comprehensive view of the event. This added another layer of complexity, as we needed to be agile and ready to capture spontaneous moments while maintaining high production quality. The logistical challenge of navigating the vast festival grounds, coordinating with performers and event organizers, and managing real-time editing and posting schedules made this project a true test of our capabilities.

Our team was not only thrilled to be part of such an iconic event but also determined to exceed Lomotif’s expectations by delivering compelling, high-quality video content that captured the essence of EDC Las Vegas and significantly boosted their social media presence.

PRODUCTION:

This project was an epic shoot that demanded long hours, minimal rest, and constant on-the-go creativity, a challenge we eagerly embraced. Filming and editing on-site at EDC Las Vegas required precision and agility, but our dedicated team of four rose to the occasion, producing dynamic and compelling short videos that truly captured the essence of the event. Working alongside Keegan and Nicole Evans, we meticulously captured vibrant footage of the performances, crowd reactions, and behind-the-scenes moments. The result was a series of captivating videos that garnered tens of thousands of views, significantly boosting Lomotif’s social media presence and engagement.

DELIVERABLES:

30 :15- :30 second vertical interview + broll based videos

We produced 30 vertical interview and b-roll-based videos, each lasting between 15 to 30 seconds. These videos were tailored for social media, ensuring maximum engagement and shareability. The content ranged from artist interviews and live performance snippets to immersive crowd shots, all edited on-site to maintain the real-time excitement of the festival. Our ability to deliver high-quality, engaging video content in such a fast-paced environment underscores our commitment to excellence in video production and digital marketing.
