CHALLENGE:

Bunker Hill Media was approached by Allred Skis, an emerging custom ski brand, to create a comprehensive digital presence. Allred Skis needed to build their visual identity from the ground up and position themselves as a leading manufacturer of custom, hand-crafted skis. The challenge was to create compelling content for multiple platforms, including their website, social media accounts, and digital ad campaigns. Allred Skis also required assistance in managing their social media accounts, crafting effective digital advertising campaigns, and producing trade show materials.

PRODUCTION:

Bunker Hill Media worked closely with Allred Skis on various projects, traveling to the Salt Lake City, UT area to shoot on location with founder Chad Allred. We produced high-quality video content both in Chad’s workshop and on the mountain at Snowbird Resort. Our video production team also captured stunning footage at numerous other ski resorts across the country, showcasing the craftsmanship and performance of Allred’s custom skis.

In addition to video production, we managed Allred Skis' Instagram account, leveraging our expertise in social media marketing to enhance their online presence. We created engaging social media content that resonated with their audience, increasing their brand visibility and engagement. Our team also produced a compelling presence for Allred Skis at several editions of the Outdoor Retailer show, helping to boost their brand recognition and attract potential customers.

Chad Allred was looking for a late season feature on his touring skis option - we delivered a piece we were really proud of and truly captured the nature of his small but mighty ski building company.

Allred’s ski building process is a labor of love, and it all starts with the wood. We followed Chad up in the Wasatch backcountry to see exactly where Allred’s pine cores come from.

We remotely directed and edited a series of videos detailing Allred’s ski building process, from cutting the trees to sharpening the edges. Plus – we highlight why Chad’s deep experience as a Physical Therapist allows him to fine tune skis to fit the needs of customers who have suffered injuries that might otherwise keep them off the slopes.
