CHALLENGE:

Bunker Hill Media was approached by Freedom Boat Club to help them create a suite of video assets to support their "New Year, New View" campaign. We utilized existing footage to create a dynamic series of videos for both the United States and International markets.

Our challenge was to comb through a massive amount of existing footage from several locations and stitch together a finished piece that represented a wide variety of different boating destinations and activities, all while creating an aspirational message that communicated FBC's value proposition and a strong call to action.

We then made adjustments to aspect ratios, colorways, logos, and lengths to create 60+ unique pieces of content for use across FBC’s US and International platforms.

PRODUCTION:

For this project, we worked hand-in-hand with the Freedom Boat Club’s team to craft a narrative that effectively communicated FBC’s value proposition, while promoting the aspirational call to action of the “New Year, New View” campaign. We built out several different concepts for the videos, and developed a script and storyboard for the final version.

Once our script had been approved, we worked with a trove of footage that FBC had developed over the last several years across a multitude of locations. We spent several days combing through the footage to find the shots that best represented FBC’s diverse offering of destinations, boat types, and clientele.

Finally, we stitched the footage together, added an upbeat house track from Epidemic Sound, and added some nautical motion graphics to tie the project together. We’re stoked about the final result!

DELIVERABLES:

The deliverables for this project were comprehensive. In addition to the “hero” 30-second video, we also created 12 and 6-second cutdowns. We also created unique versions for FBC’s international market, which also had to be translated into Spanish and French. Each cutdown was also reframed into wide, square, and vertical versions. This resulted in over 60 unique pieces of content!
