Capturing the Energy: Our Video and Photo Coverage of JPPilates and MyStryde's First Outdoor Collaboration Class

Last weekend, we had the exciting opportunity to film JPPilates and MyStryde’s inaugural outdoor collaboration class, and it was nothing short of epic! Per usual with any project we’ve done with Jenn! The combination of fresh air, dynamic workouts, and community spirit created a perfect setting for us to showcase the essence of both brands.

Setting the Scene

The outdoor class took place at Boston’s very own Bunker Hill Monument and it was an absolutely perfect day. As participants arrived, there was an air of anticipation - even though it was 8 am on a Saturday everyone was ready to run and hit the mat. This collaboration represented a unique blend of Pilates and high-intensity running, bringing together fitness enthusiasts from both communities. As frequent participants in Jenn’s classes at both the monument and her studio it was so great to see so many new faces ready to be captured on video and photo for promotional content!

Our Approach to Filming

Equipped with our Sony FX3 and DJI Mini 3, we set out to capture the day’s action from multiple angles. The FX3, known for its exceptional video quality and great photo capability, was perfect for close-up and wide shots of participants engaging in the workouts. Meanwhile, the DJI Mini 3 allowed us to capture stunning aerial views, providing a unique perspective on the entire class and showcasing the beautiful surroundings.

Showcasing the Collaboration

Throughout the class, we focused on the seamless integration of Pilates and run training. Our goal was to highlight how both disciplines complement each other, allowing participants to build strength, flexibility, and endurance. We filmed various segments, from warm-ups to the main workout, capturing the enthusiasm and camaraderie among the participants.

Editing for Impact

After the shoot, we dove into post-production, carefully crafting a narrative that reflected the energy and vibe of the day. By combining dynamic footage with engaging sound bites, we aimed to create a video that not only showcased the workout but also conveyed the sense of community that JPPilates and MyStryde foster.

The Final Product

The final video highlights the success of this first outdoor collaboration class, emphasizing the importance of community in fitness. It’s a celebration of the connections made and the motivation found in shared experiences. We are thrilled to have played a part in capturing this special moment for JPPilates and MyStryde.

Covering this event reinforced our belief in the power of video storytelling. Quality video content can inspire, motivate, and connect audiences, making it an invaluable tool for fitness brands looking to engage their communities. We look forward to future collaborations and can’t wait to see what JPPilates and MyStryde come up with next!
